Our Name & Vision
我们的名字与异象
Rochester Living Water Chinese Christian Church carries a vision in its very name: life flowing like living water—always renewing, always refreshing. Formerly known as Rochester Chinese Christian Church West, we became independent and embraced a new identity, reflecting God’s ongoing work among us. In 2023, we joyfully celebrated the 20th anniversary of our West church, giving thanks for God’s faithfulness through the years.
Our History
教会历史
The vision for establishing a church in Rochester’s West area began in 2003. Many Chinese students and immigrant families were living in the west side, and we longed to bring them the Gospel during their years of study and life here.
2003 – We partnered with Wesley United Methodist Church, renting their space for Sunday afternoon services. The church grew quickly.
2006 – We moved to Grace Road Church and began holding morning services.
2015 – God opened the door for us to acquire our own building at 70 Thompson Rd.
2021 – We became an independent church and adopted the name Rochester Living Water Chinese Christian Church.
2023 – We celebrated our 20th anniversary, praising God for His faithfulness!
